What Is Emetophobia
Emetophobia is an abnormal and intense fear of vomiting. The symptoms of emetophobia can arise in a sufferer with both themselves feeling like vomiting and/or someone else feeling nauseated or has already vomited. The emetophobia symptoms can also be triggered by watching someone vomit on television or cinema screen. Emetophobia can strike anyone from as early as 6 years of age to adulthood. The fear of vomiting in a public place often makes the emetophobic avoid social gatherings. The term emetophobia comes from the Greek word for (vomiting) “emetos” and “phobos” (fear).
In this video Brianna, who is an emetophobic defines in her own unique way what emetophobia is and how other people usually react to her phobia.
